We have produced this new web site, which we think you will find not only useful but also interesting. Of course, we also hope it helps convince you that Walk Japan provides the best tours of Japan. Please contact Walk Japan and let us know what you think.

Our Nakasendo Way tour now completes the whole journey between Kyoto and Tokyo. In Kyoto we visit Sanjo-ohashi bridge, the beginning of the old highway. And we now finish the tour, appropriately, at Nihonbashi bridge, the Nakasendo's destination in the capital. We have included another day of walking on the Nakasendo with a visit to Karuizawa, an old post town and now an up market resort, for a walk over one of the highest passes of the whole route. We have added another day to the Kunisaki Trek. The extra time allows us to visit the charming island of Hime-shima, spend more time at an atmospheric and remote temple, and generally have more time to fully enjoy the beauty of this forgotten part of Japan. And, making it an even better tour, we have held the price to 2006 levels. Kunisaki Trek

Our latest tour, the Hokkaido Hike, is an exploration of the flora and fauna of this very different part of Japan. Hiking up, around and between volcanoes, the focus of Hokkaido's spectacular scenery, we delve into Japan's grand scale wilderness. All topped off with an abundance of hot springs and great food.
